The Calendar

On Friday we received our calendar in the mail. It has our schedule all mapped out from January 14th to the beginning of February and our possible Egg Retrieval date. On the 14th Rob and I will be attending a class together in Spokane to learn how to give injections. Thankfully Rob has stepped up and will be giving me all my medications. All of you who know me well are aware of my phobia of needles and blood. It is ironic that I have to conquer one of my biggest fears to go through this whole process of becoming pregnant. It will be soooo worth it in the end. It is happening very quickly and I will begin my medication on January 23rd. Keep sending us your good thoughts! Happy Holidays!

The Beginning

We will be starting a journey towards our ultimate goal of starting a family. We are excited and nervous. Most couples get to experience pregnancy through a surprise gift of conception. We have the rare opportunity to be prepared and dedicated to the creation of our family. I have been researching for weeks any personal stories of a journey through IVF. I have not found anything to help me feel connected to the process of invetro fertilization. I would like to invite you all to read and pray for us as we begin the next chapter in our lives as a couple. Hopefully a journey that brings us a little piece of perfection with my laugh and Rob's smile :)
